Frequently asked questions

Shipping & Global Logistics

How sustainable are your carbon fiber guitars?

We are committed to a future where high performance meets environmental responsibility. We utilize IB2 Bio-Resin, an advanced epoxy infusion system with significant bio-based content, reducing our reliance on fossil fuels. Additionally, we have integrated recycled carbon fiber into our production—reclaimed from high-end industrial applications and woven into new life. Unlike mass-produced disposable goods, a Carbon Craft guitar is built to last for generations, making it a truly sustainable alternative to traditional instruments.

Do you ship to my country?

Yes, we ship worldwide. We have extensive experience delivering our instruments to North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Every guitar is shipped via premium express carriers (UPS, FedEx, or DHL) to ensure the fastest and safest journey to your doorstep.

How is the guitar protected during international shipping?

We take no risks. Each guitar is packed in a custom-engineered, heavy-duty protective box with specialized internal shock-absorption. The instrument is fully insured for its total value, so you can have complete peace of mind while it travels across the ocean.

What about customs duties and import taxes?

For international orders (including the USA), import duties and local taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Since we ship from the European Union, please consult your local customs office for specific rates. In the USA, instruments typically undergo standard customs processing.

The Carbon Fiber Experience

Does a carbon fiber guitar sound "metallic" or "plastic"?

Absolutely not. Our high-modulus carbon fiber is engineered to replicate the warmth and richness of premium tonewoods, but with enhanced clarity and sustain. By hand-voicing our internal bracing, we ensure a deep, organic resonance that often surprises even the most traditional players.

Why do you use a wooden fretboard on a carbon guitar?

The fretboard is the most intimate point of contact between the player and the instrument. We use genuine dark hardwoods to provide the natural, organic tactile feel that carbon fiber simply cannot match. It ensures your fingers feel "at home" from the very first note.

Is the guitar really immune to humidity and temperature?

Yes. This is one of the greatest advantages of our construction. Unlike wood, our carbon fiber does not shrink, warp, or crack. You can travel from the dry air of an airplane to the humidity of the tropics without ever worrying about your guitar’s structural integrity or tuning stability.

Custom Orders & Heritage Series

Can I choose different carbon weave patterns for my guitar?

Yes! In our Heritage Series, we offer "Visual Weave Customization." You can select different weave scales (3K, 6K, 12K Twill) for the soundboard, ribs, and neck to create a unique aesthetic. We also offer "Bookmatched" V-patterns for the top and back.

What does "Acoustic Voicing" mean?

It means we hand-carve the internal bracing specifically for you. During a personal consultation, we define your sound: Scalloped for booming bass,Tapered for delicate fingerstyle sensitivity, or Parabolic for bright, cutting clarity. We build the soundyouwant.

How long does it take to build a custom guitar?

Our current lead time for a handcrafted Heritage Series guitar is approximately 6 weeks. This is significantly faster than most boutique wooden custom shops, despite the labor-intensive nature of our "Naked Carbon" process.

DIY Kits

I am not a professional luthier. Can I build the DIY Kit?

Yes, our kits are designed for skilled hands and ambitious builders. While it requires patience and basic workshop tools, we provide a detailed technical blueprint and—most importantly—expert technical support to guide you through the critical steps of the build.

What parts are NOT included in the DIY Kit?

To give you total freedom of choice, the kit does not include tuning machines, the nut, the saddle, or the fretboard. This allows you to select the specific hardware and wood species that best fit your personal standards.

Payments & Warranty

Is my payment secure?

100%. Our Shopify-powered store uses industry-standard SSL encryption to protect your data. We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and secure bank transfers.

What kind of warranty do you provide?

We offer a Lifetime Warranty on the carbon fiber structure (body and neck) for the original owner. We stand behind our craftsmanship and the permanence of our materials. Standard hardware is covered by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
